People-watching at Loose Park or any number of Plaza vantage points provides the cheapest thrills, but if your definition of "date" tends to include activities that are a bit more tangible, start at Ranch Mart (95th and Mission), where you can roll strikes at Ranchmart Lanes and then take in some egg rolls at China Garden. Unfortunately, Ranch Mart's dollar fourplex is extinct, but a trip to the Trailridge theaters (75th and Nieman) can satisfy your cheap cinema cravings. --AM
