Getting from one end of the city to the other just got a lot quicker. You can get from Bannister Mall to Linwood Boulevard in under 10 minutes, barring heavy traffic. Whether you want to test out a fast new ride, feel like drag racing, or are running late for work, just jump on the road named after local civil rights activist and first African-American to run for mayor in Kansas City. Note: Watch out for the "po-po"; their radar guns have been known to snag a motorist or two on this stretch of open road. --SE
