It's cold and it's slick. What better excuse do people need to get close? That's what makes the AMF (formerly King Louie) Ice Chateau the ideal spot for a first date. "We see a lot of couples in here ... and I'll guarantee you, whoever's out there skating the first time is nervous, and you're immediately holding hands, if for no other reason than support," says manager Todd Ashe. "It's a great place to meet people.... We've got a unique feel, kind of a ski-lodge feel." But it's not just the ice rink's chill that's been bringing in the lovebirds for more than four decades. "There's a lot to do in one place," says Ashe. "There's bowling, video games, and pool. It's kind of the romantic thing."
