Mother Nature's Health Market

We like Mother Nature's Health Market because it's a friendly little neighborhood health-food store that reminds us of our childhood in the '70s, when health food was all about granola and alfalfa sprouts. From meatless jerky to hypoallergenic dog shampoo, Mother Nature's crams a surprising selection of products onto the shelves of its cozy store. Cheerful service seems to be a priority there, too (unlike a certain natural-foods store where employees are more likely to be chain-smoking out back than helping a customer find the nutritional yeast or organic buckwheat groats). Mother Nature's even has a computer so that customers can search for products. The best part? Mother Nature's does special orders.
