All I remember of actual chaos theory comes from a monologue by Jeff Goldblum's character in Jurassic Park. But I think it has something to do with water never trickling down your hand the same way twice. Or a hurricane starting in the Atlantic from a butterfly flapping its wings in the Pacific. Or maybe it explains how exactly they get the filling inside a Twinkie. Whatever. This Chaos Theory will likely cause sonic ripples inside the Uptown, with nearly two dozen DJs, including ringers such as Richard Humpty Vission from Los Angeles, Joey Beltram from New York, Toronto's Freaky Flow (pictured) with MC Flipside, and Carlos Soul Slinger from Brazil. All under one roof. All on one night. Spinning everything from jungle and house to progressive funk and drum-'n'-bass. Plus some of the best local deck handlers around. Oh, and that chick from America's Next Top Model. Either way, looks like it's time to dust off your pacifier and break out the glow sticks.
