We hate to say it out loud. It costs us cred with our pierced and tattooed friends, and it goes against our libertarian tendencies. But man, are we happy that Lawrence went smoke-free. We are no longer tempted to light up while we're chatting up bartender Brent in the dark downstairs of the Eighth Street Tap Room or while we're ridiculing the smokers crowded on the tiny balcony of Henry's Upstairs. We visit the dry cleaner much less often. Meanwhile, it is a lot easier to lie about where we've been all night, particularly when we've helped further the Replay Lounge's reputation as the "pre-lay."
