Pomeroy

Friday, December 31, at the Lucky Brewgrille.

Fresh from rocking the 'stans this past September (as in Afghanistan and Pakistan) and shaking Djibouti -- as well as Bahrain, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates -- as part of a whirlwind tour for American troops stationed overseas, perennial party band Pomeroy is ready to help Kansas City rock in the new year. Though this funky five-piece remains a mainstay of the college circuit, Pomeroy is looking for that bigger break to happen soon. And hey, if it can helpa thousands of troops forget that they're caught in a perpetually swirling shitstorm of danger for a few hours, it's a safe bet it also could help a bar full of inebriated sorority sisters on New Year's Eve forget that they have any standards.
