Interesting interview. I still am not impressed with Mr. Amato. What a disservice he would be to my child if a teacher in the district. HUM!

I'M SORRY THAT YOU HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH YOUR LINC PROGRAM. HOW EVER, MY EXPERIENCES WITH THE LINC PROGRAM HAS BEEN NOTHING BUT A MEANINGFUL EXPERIENCE. MY CHILD WAS INVOLVED WITH LINC FOR FIVE YEARS AND WITHIN THE FIVE YEAR PERIOD I'VE HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO RECIEVE MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES, A MALE MENTOR AND UTILITIY ASSISSTANCE. I LIVE IN A COMMUNITY THAT IS DRUG INFESTED AND RATED ONE OF THE HIGHEST CRIME AREAS IN THE JACKSON COUNTY DISTRICT. WITH THE ASSISSTANCE OF THE LINC COORDINATOR AND STAFF, MONTHLY SCHOOL NEIGHBORHOOD AND ADVISORY MEETING FOR PARENTS AND COMMUNITY WERE ABLE TO COME TOGETHER AS ONE AND NOT BE DIVIDED. I SUPPORT MR. AMATO WANTING TO HELP THE CHILDREN ACADEMICALLY, BUT THE CHILDREN CANNOT LEARN WITHOUT INTEGRITY, RESPONSIBILITY, BE CARING RESPECTFUL AND BEING GOOD CITIZENS. THE LINC PROGRAM HELPS BUILD CHARACTER FOR OUR CHILDREN. MR. AMATO CHARACTER COUNTS ALL THE TIME AND ALL THE TIME CHARACTER COUNTS.
