Strap on your blades. It's skating season again. The Crown Center Ice Terrace opened earlier this month for its 35th year of frosty pirouettes and cliché dates. Regular admission costs $6; adults 60 and older and children 5 and younger get in free. Bring your own skates, or rent a pair for $2. Through January, rink hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Hours change in February and March to 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. Call 816-274-8411 or see crowncenter.com.
