A dude who was host of Comedy Central's Crash Course in Comedy must know a little something about the subject, right? And a co-founder of the New York Comedians Coalition needs a take-charge attitude, yes? Ted Alexandro meets these comedic criteria, combining a little world-weary befuddlement, intelligence and Queens attitude. Conversational, observational, a bit political and totally rational, Alexandro picks apart familiar minutiae and leaves no social more unexamined. And if you haven't caught the Comedy Central Presents in which he brings out rapper "guest stars" Todd Barry, Russ Meneve and Dave Attell, you're missing stand-up incest at its very best. Tonight at 8, Alexandro headlines Stanford's Comedy Club (1867 Village West Parkway in Kansas City, Kansas); he plays additional shows at 7:45 and 9:45 p.m. Friday and Saturday and at 7 p.m. Sunday. Tickets cost $12 to $25; call 913-400-7500 for information.
Thu., Nov. 15, 8 p.m.; Fri., Nov. 16, 7:45 p.m.; Sat., Nov. 17, 9:45 p.m.; Sun., Nov. 18, 7 p.m., 2007
