Kansas' buffalo license plates are on the endangered list. And instead of hiring six-figure consultants to design new personalized plates, to be unveiled in 2010, the state is asking Kansans to submit their own designs to the Department of Revenue by January 1 (click here for the state's directions on how to submit your ideas).
