This season tends to bombard us with images of bright and shiny new electronic gadgets that will be out of date by New Year's Day. Searching for a good gift can be stressful. But for 25 years, the KC Clay Guild has offered a holiday shopping alternative. For something truly original, check out the 25th-Annual KC Clay Guild Holiday Pottery Sale and Studio Tour. Today and Sunday, 17 members of the guild will join 20 other artists to show off and sell their work at the guild's 200 West 74th Street location. Featured artists include Susan Speck, Cathy Broski and Anne Mulvihill. The clay objects on sale include functional pots, Christmas ornaments and one-of-a-kind knickknacks. The sale is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free. For more information about the artists and maps of the studio tour, see kcclayguild.org or call 816-363-1373.
