Here's a tip for all the gents out there this Valentine's Day: If your lady's curtains no longer match her drapes — as it were — but have instead been pruned into the shape of a heart or a bow and dyed a color that does not occur in nature, do not laugh.Stylist Annie Prenni, who works at Pure Salon in Lee's Summit (803 Northeast Lakewood Boulevard), is offering a service called the Valentine's Day Betty. Betty is the brand name of a hair dye that goes, you know, down there. On this special day, Prenni will wax, pluck and dye your Betty pink, red, electric-green or blue. Call 816-876-1457 to schedule a service. The process to dye your hoo-haa costs $20 and takes about an hour. To get a Brazilian wax in the shape of a heart, take $68. That means a colorful heart on your va-jay-jay costs $88 total, before tip.
