Women have the inalienable right to do whatever men do, although sometimes you have to wonder whether women should want to do everything men do. Take, for example, football, the sport that noted athlete George F. Will said combines the two worst things in Ameri­can society: violence and committee meetings. Women have made strides in many areas of society, including football, a sport almost exclusively dominated by men. The Kansas City Storm plays in the National Women's Football Association, a league that in eight seasons has expanded from two to 35 teams. The team's season may begin in April, but the Storm hosts a Pro Bowl Beer Bust fundraiser and promotional event at 5 p.m. today at Outabounds (3601 Broadway).
