For the 80th consecutive year, Hollywood's best and brightest assemble tonight for a chance to palm a small naked man named Oscar. To watch who wins, climb upstairs to Louise's Downtown (1009 Massachusetts in Lawrence) for the Third-Annual Scene Stealers Oscar Party. Before the big event, partiers can predict Oscar winners through an online ballot. Then they'll head to Louise's to watch the show and measure their success. Prizes go to the most accurate predictors, and those who lack cinematic clairvoyance get consolation gifts. (People can play along at home, too.) The highest-scoring online contestant wins a special prize package. It costs $5 to hit this 21-and-older shindig. Doors open at 6 p.m., when ballots are due. For more information, call 785-843-9032 or see scene-stealers.com.
