He's from the Netherlands — of course his name is Bong-Ra.

But with an itinerary that includes a few gigs in his hometown of Utrecht, then over to San Francisco, Los Angeles, KC, St. Louis, Philly, Jersey and Bristol, UK — all in the space of three weeks — this cat gets off his couch way more than your average stoner.

Fans of jungle, breakcore and all that wonky, hard-hitting, oh-my-god-there's-a-fork-in-the-microwave dance music will benefit from the Bongster's active schedule this summer, and local drum-'n'-bass scenesters are going to freak out when he joins his pal Murderbot (a local recently moved to Chicago) and others for a night of slaughtering dubstep, bloodletting breaks and sub bass to knock your nuts sideways.

Also on hand are locals J Fortune (drum-'n'-bass), Edenflux (live-PA experimentalism) and DJ Tonic (IDM), plus St. Louis D'n'B spinner Dustin E and video projections by Filth Pro. Like crack for your dub soul.
