A Waldo Tradition

There are other entertainment districts in Kansas City. Places where one can park for free, wear whatever they want and visit a bar where the bartenders remain fully clothed and behind the bar instead of on top of it. One such place is Waldo, home of the Fourth-Annual Waldo Crawldo pub crawl. In true pub-crawl fashion, the event is hosted by local businesses that are within half a block of one another. Proceeds from the $5 advance tickets and $10 day-of tickets benefit the Waldo Business Association and the Waldo Fountain Fund. Starting at 6 p.m., this year's crawl features the Coors Light and Parrot Bay Girls and the KC Luxury Bus. Area business leaders and members of the homes association welcome crawlers to Waldo and provide directions. It doesn't get much more neighborhoody than that.
