To everything there is a season, and every good dog has his day and today in the City Market, where your dog is not welcome, shoppers will be celebrating melons of all shapes and sizes. Because, as it turns out, late August and early September are melon season! You'll find fresh, organically-grown watermelons, casabas, and tons of others. Shatto Milk Company is selling dairy products, and the market will have events like the melon shot-put and melon soccer. If you're not sick of melons by the end of the day, they're doing something wrong.
