Tonight's Dance in the Park promises a delightful night of fancy footworkery and outdoor fun. This free, family friendly event at Roanoke Park showcases the talents of regional professional dance companies, which will perform such styles as swing, West African, Indian and Middle Eastern.The party starts at 6:30 p.m. with an open hip-hop class. Performances start at 7 p.m. Afterward, the Vesuvius Tribe will lead everyone to 39th Street and Wyoming for an afterparty with drumming, fire performances and even more dancing.
