The Kansas City, Kansas, Public Library's 19th-annual Bad Film Festival comes with a Western theme this year: "How the West Was Weird." Tonight's "worst of the West" is Jesse James Meets Frankenstein's Daughter. As it turns out, Narda Onyx's Dr. Maria Frankenstein, who has settled in a Southwest American village, is actually Dr. Frankenstein's granddaughter, but the inaccurate title may be the least of the film's problems. Maria and her brother, Rudolph, in the course of a series of probably unethical experiments, transform Jesse James' hulking sidekick into a hideous undead monster called Igor. Catch it tonight at the Kansas City, Kansas, Public Library's Main Branch (625 Minnesota). Call 913-551-3280 for more information. The screening is at 6 p.m.
