With a lineup including visual artists, musicians, dancers, and a fashion designer, tonight's event at the Slap-n-Tickle Gallery (504 East 18th Street, 816-716-5940) from 6 p.m. to midnight will challenge all five of your senses, assuming you can get a friend to give you a neck rub during the festivities. Owner Apryl McAnerney describes her annual Erotica exhibit this way: "Its about erotica, about having a sense of joy and freedom instead of the negativity that can sometimes be associated with it. It's for adult audiences and people who are not easily offended. Not for children." Check out art by 30 artists from Kansas City and New York; musical performances by the Cosmic One Trio, Cheri Lu Woods and the Threes; fashion design by Take a Halliday; and burlesque by Madame Meprise and Paco Fish, among others.
Thu., Feb. 5, 6-9 p.m.; Fri., Feb. 6, 6 p.m.-midnight; Sat., Feb. 7, 1-5 p.m., 2009
