According to The Old Farmer's Almanac, tonight's full moon has an official name: the Full Pink Moon. The name refers to the appearance of wild pink phlox, but the late psychic David Schneider called this April full moon "the night that even straight men act a little gay." If, under the influence of the Pink Moon, you feel the need to get in touch with your inner gay (or someone's inner gay), there are several rainbow flag-waving saloons offering happy-hour specials. Outabounds (3611 Broadway, 816-931-0501), the gay-friendly sports bar, offers $2 well drinks and $2.50 bottles of domestic brews from 4 to 7:30 p.m. The more cosmopolitan Bistro 303 (303 Westport Road, 816-753-2303) serves $5 appetizers and $2.75 bottles of imported beers from 4 to 6 p.m. For cowpokes looking for other cowpokes, country music is always on tap at Sidekicks Saloon (3707 Main, 816-931-1430), where prices are reduced on bottles, mini-pitchers and bomb shots — all day on Thursdays. And at Side Street (413 East 33rd Street, 816-531-1775), which bills itself as "a dive bar with a touch of leather," well drinks are $2.50 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Think pink!
