Nearly 2,500 people in Kansas City, Missouri, are living with HIV or AIDS, according to the most recent statistics from the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services. Today, you have a chance to help those people while acquiring some new designer duds at the Redline Fashion Show and Benefit Auction at the Nara Event Space (1617 Main). Browse the racks and buy directly from 10 up-and-coming local designers before the models hit the runway. Proceeds from donations at the door and from the auction go to AIDS Walk Kansas City, which supports services for those living with HIV and AIDS in the Kansas City area. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the fashion show begins at 8, followed by the auction. A donation gets you in. See redlinekc.com for more information.
