Think now is a bad time to start a business? Jonathan and Seth Freiden, owners of the awesome U.S. Toy in Leawood, might convince you otherwise at a panel discussion tonight. The talk is part of a series called Stories of Success organized by the Network, a division of the Jewish Federation of Greater Kansas City for Jewish professionals ages 21 to 45. A meet-and-greet, starting at 6:15 p.m., kicks off the event discussion at U.S. Toy Company (2008 West 103rd Terrace in Leawood, 913-642-8247), and the hourlong panel discussion begins at 7 p.m. Appetizers and dessert are included in the $15 ticket price. RSVP at jewishkansascity.org.
