Sometimes, in the arms of waifish models, tiny dogs get to appear at fashion shows — as accessories. Tonight, however, dogs will own the runway at Penn Valley Off-Leash Dog Park (29th Street and Wyandotte). A style show centered on dogs is part of the Welcome to Hollywoof activities presented by Kansas City, Missouri, Parks and Recreation. The evening kicks off at 7 p.m. with an hour of playtime. The fashion show, a doggy talent contest and games start at 8. The main event is an 8:30 screening of film The Truth About Cats and Dogs. The first 50 pooches at the gate get free gift bags.
