Today marks the second-annual Midwest Graffiti Expo, a date when even the ozone layer might appreciate the uncapping of dozens of aerosol cans. Two guest artists, Vulcan (from New York) and Apex (from California), will join graf writers from the ATT and DF graffiti crews. They'll be spraying to the sounds of DJs Yady, Mythik, Z Sonic and Leo Night Us of the Hip-Hop Academy. It all goes down at James Elementary School (5810 Scarritt) from 1 p.m. until the murals are finished.
