For the fourth year in a row, tickets for this huge all-ages rock festival sponsored by KQRC 98.9 have sold out. Fortunately, plenty of scalpers close to the gates at Penn Valley Park's Liberty Memorial have got ya covered. This year's lineup includes L.A.'s raunchy hard rockers Buckcherry, Grammy winners Korn, the post-grunge quartet Shinedown, Canada's Theory of a Deadman, Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor and the Junk Beer Kidnap Band, former G 'n R bassist Duff McKagan's Loaded, Texas nü-metal band Drowning Pool, locals Federation of Horsepower and others. Join Johnny Dare, Carrie Coogan and the rest of the 98.9 "The Rock" crew when the gates open at 11 a.m. See rockfestkc.com for full lineup, stage times and locations of remaining ticket contest giveaways.
