Austin's ...And You Will Know Us By the Trail of Dead has been giving copy editors fits for years — not to mention pissing off the owners of the clubs they trashed en route to becoming a must-see live act. (The Bottleneck's ceiling has never quite recovered from a circa-2003 lashing.) The group's rapturous arena rock answers the question: What if the Trans-Siberian Orchestra were actually a bunch of punk rockers in black T-shirts who loved Mission of Burma?
