Fans of foxy soccer players, take note: Players for the Missouri Mavericks will be toe-touching down the runway tonight at Ice, the fall/winter fashion show at the Courthouse Exchange (113 West Lexington in Independence, on Independence Square). The guys will be styled by the men's department at Dillard's, while female models will show off the latest from the Uptown Boutique (whose amazing end-of-summer sale is October 15, 16 and 17, by the way). A $25 general admission ticket buys two drink tickets, while the $50 VIP seat gets you light eats and unlimited drinks. All the money raised benefits the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City. VIP ticket holders can get in at 6:30 p.m.; doors for everyone else open at 7:30, and the show starts at 8. Tickets are available at the Uptown Boutique (200 North Liberty, Independence). Call 816-836-7369 for more details, or see shoptheub.com.
