The K. City Coffee House and Wine Bar opened in the River Market on Monday.
A wide range of breakfast options includes cinnamon rolls ($2.25), bagels ($1.60, $2.05 with cream cheese), oatmeal ($1.25), meat and cheese croissants ($3.75), quiche ($4.75), and muffins, scones and apricot bars ($2).
There are meal possibilities, too. Four sandwiches -- the Tysen (smoked turkey breast), the Karter (smoked ham), the Christian (roast beef), and the Adonis (oven roasted chicken breast) -- are $6.75. On Tuesday there were soups: chicken noodle, tomato and veggie (cup: $3, bowl: $4). And there's a house, caesar or greek salad for $6.25 (can add chicken for $1). A half sandwich with cup of soup or small salad is $6.50.
The coffee shop has an active Twitter feed and will be launching an open-mic series on January 14. It's open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
