You need plans. Fat City has a recycle bin full of listings. In this post, all our problems are solved.

Another weekend, another rivalry. The men's basketball teams at Kansas University and Kansas State University battle each other on the

hardwood at 6 p.m. on Saturday. Lew's Grill and Bar in Waldo has drink specials on UV Vodka, bloody marys and Miller Lite drafts up until tip-off.

Even though it's winter, farms are still operating. The Mahaffie Stagecoach Stop and Farm House is open on Saturday from 10 a.m to 4 p.m. You can learn about soap and sausage making as well as corn shelling on this working farm in Olathe. It's $6 for adults, $4 for children.

If basketball doesn't have enough contact for you, the KC Power (Kansas City's Australian football club) hosts an Australia Day at the Westport Flea Market on Saturday. There will be Australian-rules football on television and a hand passing contest. Your $15 admission includes a burger and a beer.

If it's wine and song you like, Cafe Sebastienne

hosts a cabaret night at the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art on

Saturday. Alacartoona performs cabaret music during the

four-course prix fixe meal of steamed mussles in Pernod cream, French

onion soup, roasted duck ragout and brandied cherry clafouti. Tickets

are $65 and include two glasses of champagne or wine. The dinner

seating begins at 6:30 and the show starts at 8.

On Sunday you can relax over a blended coffee drink or two at the Roving Imp Coffee House in Bonner Springs. The newly opened coffee shop is attached to an improvisational comedy theater; you can catch a show and a latte for under $10.

And finally, on Monday, Tatsu's in Prairie Village hosts a wine dinner that includes sea bass poule, shrimp fricassee (cream lobster sauce), rack of lamb served au jus and a trio of new desserts (lemon souffle, fresh pineapple sorbet and raspberry millefeuille. The five-course meal is $70 per person and reservations are recommended. Call 913-383-9801.
