We touched on the connection between "Tik Tok," "California Gurls," and the Miley song. It's a popular template -- have a listen to "Just Dance" by Gaga and "In My Head" by Jason DeRulo. The choruses are EXACTLY the same. DeRulo says "my head" where Gaga says "just dance," and that's the only difference.

And finally, terrible French DJ David Guetta and former Destiny's Child member Kelly Rowland had a Eurotrash dance hit last year with "When Love Takes Over." As you will see by simply pressing play, Guetta brazenly lifted the opening piano hook from Coldplay.
