Old-school honky-tonkers Adam Lee & the Dead Horse Sound Company have a new album, When the Spirits Move Me, out November 13.

This Saturday, October 16, Lee & Co. are playing a "pre-release party" for the album at Davey's Uptown. If you make it down there, you can pick up a teaser CD with songs from the new album for the low low price of zero dollars.

That is, if you pre-order the album. Which you should do anyway. Also on the bill: the Kansas City Bear Fighters and Cadillac Flambe. Seven bucks for all this.

By the way, according to their website, the band has a gig a week from today at a "pumpkin show" in a city called Circleville, OH, at a place called Tootle's, which is some straight up Sherwood Anderson shit
