Today: Is it Chrimbus yet? Not quite. But you can get into a Chrimbus spirit when the Tim & Eric Awesome Tour brings uncomfortable humor and ridiculous costumes to the Midland tonight -- a couple weeks before the Tim & Eric Chrimbus Spectacular airs on Adult Swim. By the way, in case you hadn't started, it's a good idea to start growing out your Chrimbus bush.

Tuesday:
For anyone feeling a little hamstrung by

the American dream, Metropolitan Ensemble Theatre offers a look back at

that other rough economic period -- the 1930s -- with the play Awake & Sing by Clifford Odets.

Wednesday: Try not to bust your tailbone at the Crown Center Ice Terrace, which is now open for the ice skating season. Sequined outfits optional.

Thursday: Vinyl = canvas at the Poptopia Custom Toy Show. Artists in three age categories submitted their designs on blank figures, displayed at Californos from 6 to 8 p.m.
