Justin Leonard's roaming hands won't be rubbing down (or sexually assaulting) anyone in the state of Missouri if the state's Board of Therapeutic Massage has any say. The board revoked Leonard's license last week.
Leonard made the decision easy for the board. He pleaded guilty in June 2009 to felony sexual
assault and two counts of sexual misconduct for inappropriately touching
female clients while pretending to be a masseuse. A not-so-clever disguise for a pervy fuck like Leonard.
Leonard gave his clients lots of bad touches, according to KMBC channel 9:
According to documents from the Missouri Board of Therapeutic Massage, Leonard told a female client she had beautiful breasts, touched them, showed his tongue piercing, and said, "Let me show you what I can do with this. Let me show you how good this feels," at a salon on Oct. 13, 2008.
On Feb. 7, 2008, Leonard massaged a woman's thigh and vagina and ran his hands between her breasts, documents said.
On Oct. 10, 2008, Leonard rubbed his groin next to a client's leg while he was partially erect and placed his hands on his client's breasts.
A victim said in September 2008 that Leonard undid his belt buckle and inserted his fingers in her vagina.
And in May 2008 a victim said Leonard asked a client for a massage, and when the client asked if he was serious, Leonard said, "No, I am serious." Leonard also touched the client's vagina, documents said.
For all of that, Leonard received a 120-day sentence to go with five years of probation (on the condition he competes 120 days of "sexual risk
As my colleague Nadia Pflaum wrote when the news hit: So this dude basically gets
four months of therapy, while his victims, at best, won't ever be able
to trust a male massage therapist again?
Also, I'm not sure why it took more than a year and a half to revoke Leonard's license. However, he won't have to go far to bastardize his craft. As KMBC noted, there's nothing stopping Leonard from working in Kansas. Ladies of Kansas, maybe print off his mugshot ... just in case.
