You might have to rethink that night of tacos, bowling and elderberry wine. What? You've never had a night of tacos, bowling and elderberry wine?
That might have been the problem because Los Cabos, Pin-Up Bowl and Wyldewood Cellars have all closed at the Legends at Village West in Kansas City, Kansas.
Local restaurant group KC Hopps has shuttered its Mexican concept restaurant at the Legends, but Los Cabos at Mission Farms in Leawood has been succcesful since opening last February. KC Hopps hasn't left the Legends entirely. It still owns Wild Bill's Legendary Steakhouse and Saloon.
Pin-Up Bowl was a martini lounge-cum-bowling alley. Think Lucky Strike, only in KCK. The 12-lane alley was at the Legends for five years. The original Pin-Up Bowl in St. Louis (6191 Delmar in the Loop) is still in operation.
Wyldewood Cellars is known for one thing: elderberry wine. The winery, which actually has 40 different varieties of wine, is based in Mulvane, Kansas, and has locations in Paxico, Kansas, and West Wichita as well as in St. Joseph, Illinois.
Which one will you miss the most? Or will you not miss any of them, instead pinning (no pun intended) your hopes on the as-yet-unnamed locations that are expected to be announced in the coming weeks?
