The Kansas Music Hall of Fame inducts the Rainmakers, Bobby Watson and more in its 7th annual ceremony this weekend

The Kansas Music Hall of Fame will hold its 7th annual induction ceremony at Liberty Hall this Saturday, followed by a performance of some of the most lauded acts to come out of Kansas: Bobby Watson, Rudy Love, Riverrock, Jimmy Wilson, Central Standard Time and the Rainmakers. (These performers are also all inductees into the Hall of Fame this year.)

Here's the list:

William "Count" Basie, Kansas City

Central Standard Time, Wichita/Chicago

James Gadson, Kansas City

Rudy Love, Wichita

Pat McJimsey, Wichita

Charlie Parker, Kansas City

Rainmakers, Kansas City

Riverrock, Kansas City

Bobby Watson, Kansas City

Jimmy "Sweet Lips" Wilson, Eudora

Chely Wright, Wellsville

There's also a Directors Award inductee, Garth Fundis of Baldwin City, and a Bob Hapgood Award inductee, Jesse Stone of Atchison.

The 2011 Kansas Music Hall of Fame concert starts at 6:30 p.m. this Saturday night at Liberty Hall. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $40 -- after fees, they're $46.50 -- and you can snag 'em here.
