Could this be the last time we have to post anything about ex-Kansas City Chief Larry Johnson? Deadspin is reporting that a tipster sent them proof that Ashley Stewart, the woman who sued Johnson for allegedly spitting a drink on her at Blonde in 2008, has agreed to drop the suit for $100,000.
The letter, dated April 11, 2011, was sent from Johnson's lawyer, Jack Bangert, to Stewart's attorney, Charlie Speer (he sues stinky hog farms and stinky athletes!), in confirmation of the settlement.
We hope Stewart gets it in one lump sum of $1 bills to roll around in for a while.
It's interesting because just recently, Bangert was arguing on behalf of Johnson for a venue change, hoping to move the trial from Kansas City to someplace where Johnson is not (yet) known as a misogynist brat.
Here's the $2,290 bar tab from that night, courtesy of BroBible.com (at least he's a decent tipper).
