  • Que is a smell that gets up in your grill.

Are you lusting after a certain carnivore, but unsure how to tell him or

her? Well, Pork Barrel Barbecue has figured out how you can say I

heart you.

The barbecue sauce company has introduced Que -- an "Eau de Barbecue," that is an "intoxicating bouquet of spices, smoke, meat, and sweet summer sweat." They claim that it's the world's first bottled barbecue fragrance, and frankly, this is one claim that I'm not that excited to fact-check, so let's give them the benefit of the doubt.

Sadly, this is not the first meat-inspired fragrance on the market. Burger King made noise back in 2008 with the introduction of BK Flame -- a meaty body spray meant to invoke the Whopper in olfactory form. While I was fairly certain that the single product saturated the meat-smell market, it turns out I was wrong. Although Pork Barrel BBQ CEO Brett Thompson was pretty funny in the release announcing Que:

"Celebrity fragrances like those from P. Diddy, J. Lo, Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, and Justin Bieber have never captured the spirit of America," said Thompson. "We expect Que will set a new standard for the fragrance and fashion industry throughout the United States and the world. Lady Gaga will no longer have to wear a meat dress to the next big awards ceremony - she can simply wear Que."
To those of you who dream of spending just one day manning the pit at Arthur Bryant's, you now have the next best thing; a spray that suggests you've been smoking meat all day. Que will run you $24.95 and is available online. You could also achieve the same effect for free simply by driving by Gates on 103rd and State Line.
