MK12 pays homage to drive-in theater intermission reels with fantastically disturbed animated short Follow the Sun (video)

This weekend, I saw the last 45 minutes of Green Lantern (so awful) and all of X-Men: First Class (wonderful) at the I-70 Drive-In Theater. Unfortunately, between features, the reel operator didn't play one of those cheesy intermission cartoons to entice me to buy a bucket of buttery popcorn. Maybe I would have ponied up had they played Kansas City-based animation studio MK12's latest work, Follow the Sun, a fantastic and disturbing short that plays homage to the intermission reels of days gone by. Love, love, love this.
