Has Romeo Crennel earned the head coaching job of the Chiefs?

That is the question.

Wherefore has your stache gone, Romeo?

In the hours after a close loss to the Oakland Raiders on Saturday, Romeo Crennel explained his Zen-like feelings about whether he'll be able to shed the interim tag.

"Whatever happens will happen," said the interim head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs.

In the past two weeks, the Chiefs have ended the Packers' perfect season and come within a blocked field goal of beating the Raiders. There's still a game left — one that could keep the Denver Broncos out of the playoffs — and Crennel has already pledged to play the starters in an effort to make that happen. In the Romeo era, Chiefs fans have witnessed a sideline free of swearing, a Gatorade bath, Tyler Palko being declared inactive, and a team that is competent on both sides of the football. From what you've seen, are you ready to give the head coaching job to Crennel, or does it matter what happens next weekend in Denver?
