Fuzzy's Taco Shop, a Fort Worth import, has opened at 10157 Wornall. The Baja-style tacos are the focus with grilled and tempura-fried fish and shrimp. Another twist on the traditional taco, available in a hard corn or soft flour tortilla, is that the standard dress includes feta cheese, which Fuzzy's promises is "your new addiction."
The Texas-based taco chain has 53 locations in 11 states, including a restaurant at 1115 Massachusetts in Lawrence that opened last fall. DFW.com talked to Fuzzy's President Chuck Bush about the expansion plans last January in a piece that gave some insight into the quirky chain that is coming to college towns in the middle of the country. The Lawrence location is open from 7 to 12 a.m., Sunday through Wednesday, and from 7 to 3 a.m., Thursday through Saturday.
Anybody had the chance to sample the tacos from Texas?
