KMBC reports that Stone made the plea Monday - the day her trial was supposed to begin - and prosecutors have agreed to not seek a sentence longer than 10 years.
In November, former pastor David Love pleaded guilty to second-degree murder charges in Stone's killing. He was sentenced to life in prison without parole for more than 25 years.
In March 2010, 42-year-old Randy Stone was found shot to death inside his Farmer's Insurance office in Independence. Stone's family members believe that Teresa Stone was carrying on a longtime affair with Love, who was the pastor of New Hope Baptist Church where the Stones were members.
A grand jury indicted Teresa Stone in 2011 on charges of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, alleging that she conspired with Love to kill her husband.
After Randy Stone's slaying, Love reportedly gave the eulogy at his funeral. Love would eventually resign as the church's pastor after Independence police served a search warrant at the church.
In November 2010, Love was arrested on a murder warrant in South Carolina, where he was working as a truck driver. Love was later indicted on charges of first-degree murder and armed criminal action.
