Like our fascination with the undead, the zombie craze just won't die. The Kansas City Zombie Walk for Hunger is Saturday, and hundreds of people are expected to be lurching and moaning their way through the Plaza.

The walk begins at the RA Bloch Cancer Survivors Park (4799 Roanoke Parkway) at 2 p.m. with registration ending at 1:45 p.m. Prizes will be awarded for the best, scariest and funniest costumes. If you want to register, you need to bring five cans of food. The organizers recommend that you arrive around 12:30 p.m. Click through for a few more pictures from the walks of past years.

It's nice to see that Garth Brooks hasn't forgotten Kansas City. Or is this his alter ego: Chris Brains.

Could the guy in the green polo shirt (not the green zombie) look less nonplussed about suddenly sharing the crosswalk with the undead?

Zombie makeup and a kilt — this is like the Geek World Series.
