Rye opened on Saturday in Mission Farms

Posted By on Thu, Dec 27, 2012 at 8:23 AM

Dinner is served.
The fried chicken and lemon pie are officially out of the kitchen. Rye (10551 Mission) - a Midwest-fare restaurant (think chef versions of picnic classics) from Bluestem's Megan and Colby Garrelts - was unveiled last Saturday in Mission Farms. The space was previously the Lakeside Tavern, Los Cabos and Boudreaux's Louisiana Seafood & Steaks.

Rye is serving dinner nightly from 5 to 11 p.m. They'll add their lunch and brunch service in 2013. The restaurant will be open for New Year's Eve and will kick off its themed dinners with a Whiskey Dinner on Wednesday, January 16, at 6:30 p.m. The four-course meal with whiskey pairings costs $75. The tasting will be led by Tom Turner, a master of whiskey with Crown Royal. You can make reservations by calling 913-642-5800 or online at ryekc.com.
