A night out in Johnson County didn't go exactly as one couple planned. KSHB Channel 41 reports that last week at the Longbranch Steakhouse in Lenexa, a man accidentally shot his wife in the left leg from across the booth.

As Lenexa officer Dan Friesen explained it to Channel 41, the couple was dining when the man, who has a valid conceal and carry license, reached into his pocket and "accidentally discharged a weapon." His wife was taken to the hospital where she was treated and released that night. Longbranch is apparently considering banning diners from bringing concealed weapons into the restaurant. Do you ever think about whether your fellow diners are carrying concealed weapons?
