Curtis Stone will get all up in Kansas City's kitchen on Wednesday, April 17. The Hy-Vee spokesman, Top Chef: Masters host and celebrity chef will be here for a conversation with Rainy Day Books' Vivien Jennings. He'll be promoting his new cookbook, What's for Dinner?, slated to be released April 9.

His fifth cookbook is organized by the days of the week: Time-Saving Tuesdays, One-Pot Wednesdays and Five-Ingredient Fridays are some of the themes to guide the reader's use of the oven or slow cooker. The book talk begins at 7 p.m. at Unity Temple on the Plaza (707 West 47th Street). Tickets cost $35 plus tax and include an autographed copy and a guest ticket.
