There's a Budweiser Beer Garden on the Sprint Plaza (the concrete patio in front of the entrance gate) - a 21-and-older tent that's all you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink (Bud products, soda and water). Sporting's version of tailgating is open from two hours before kickoff to 15 minutes before kickoff. Tickets cost $20 for season ticket holders and $25 for everyone else.
Sporting is also adding five of Grinders' menu items at the Boulevard Members Club inside the stadium. The Crossroad restaurant will be making chili cheese tater tots, chicken strips, chicken wings, meatball sandwiches and Philly cheesesteaks beginning this Saturday.
"We are always interested in doing things that surprise people and enhance our fan experience," said John Moncke, Sporting Kansas City's VP of Stadium and Brand Revenue, in a release. "It is very exciting for us to announce that Grinders will be opening a pop-up restaurant in the Boulevard Members Club."
Sporting's next match is Saturday against the Portland Timbers at 7:30 p.m.
