The indie-rock-oriented St. Louis music festival LouFest
is back for a fourth year, this September 7-8, at Forest Park. The lineup was revealed today, and it's probably worth the four-hour cross-state trip. The big names are Wilco, the National, the Killers, Alabama Shakes, Edward Sharpe and the Magnificent Zeros and the Roots. Further down the bill are Jim James, Local Natives, Toro Y Moi and Icona Pop.
Tickets are on sale this Friday, May 3, at 10 a.m. Early-bird two-day passes are going for $75. Once those run out, the price bumps up to $95. More info here.
