It's a fish tale in Leawood. Drunken Fish has opened its second Kansas City-area outpost in the former Fo Thai space at 4331 West 119th Street. The St. Louis import has an existing location at 14 East 14th Street in the Power & Light District. (Charles Ferruzza checked out everything from the fried cheesesteak roll to the poached lobster tail in his review of the spot that opened in February 2011.)

Sleek red booths adorn the modern dining room, which is almost as colorful as what leaves the kitchen. The restaurant's namesake sushi roll has shrimp tempura, Japanese mayo, asparagus, red tuna, masago and eel sauce while the White Tiger Roll features calamari tempura, crab, avocado, masago, white tuna, spicy mayo and eel sauce. Drunken Fish's new Leawood location is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday and Monday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday and 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Thursday through Saturday. The phone number is 913-339-9335.
